Chiba-Nishi General Hospital in Matsudo City serves the community as a core general hospital. Our policy is backed by:
  1. Availability - open 24 hours a day seven days a week 365 days a year
  2. Open billing - no hospitalization deposits, no differences in fees for beds not covered by health insurance for open wards, and no air conditioning or heating fees
  3. Easy terms - extended payment for individuals, meaning 30% of payment covered by health insurance for patients having financial difficulties
  4. Hospitalization support - advances and lending of money to patients having difficulties with living expenses
  5. No gifts or honoraria - no presents or gifts accepted
  6. Improved services - constant improvements in medical techniques and patient care
 
Outpatient Reception and Admission Instructions
Outpatient reception hours: 08:30 to 11:30 Monday through Saturday
* Please note that some departments may schedule off-days depending on doctors' schedules.
  • Emergency internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics patients are accepted 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
  • Emergency patients in other areas are initially care for by internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics physicians but are seen by specialists as required.
  • Internal medicine, surgery, and pediatrics departments accept patients in the afternoon as well as morning.
  • Please note that not appointments are accepted for the first medical examination.
  • Acceptance time schedule varies depending on the department. Please check with the hospital before arriving.
  • Please call ahead to confirm acceptance times for the following departments and services: psychosomatic medicine, neurology, outpatient pediatrics, internal medicine and surgery for outpatients with reservations, medical examinations, detailed physical examinations, and dialysis.
  • The department of dental surgery might not receive outpatients on Wednesdays and Fridays due to surgery schedules. Please call ahead to confirm acceptance schedules.
  • Patients seeking consultations at more than one department should arrive at the hospital by 10:30 to ensure acceptance.
  • Please bring your health insurance card to the first examination each month.
Admission:
  1. On the day of admission, please follow the designated procedures such as filling out applications at general reception (same as for first-time patients).
  2. Please bring with you necessary cards such as health insurance, medical care identification for the elderly, and other cards needed for procedures.
  3. Admission (scheduled, not emergency) is accepted from 14:00, in principle.
 
Admission fees:
  1. Fees for medical examinations are calculated, in principle, based on the remuneration schedule for medical treatment regulated by the Japanese Social Insurance Agency.
  2. Patients must pay prescribed fees for childbirth, examinations not covered by health insurance, private room use, and document preparation.
